Dealing with Divas with Laura Baxter
At just 4 years old, Laura Baxter discovered her passion for being on stage as she sang her first solo at church. Her love of performance brought her to many stages, from musical theatre to opera, until she finally hit a wall. Luckily her director at the time urged her to see an old wise woman named Nan who gently steered her onto a spiritual journey that taught her how to find her source within.
After many years of commanding the stage from inner presence and authenticity, Laura now teaches people how to ‘own the room’ in a way that is authentic to their true nature. Her most recent book, Dealing with Divas and other Difficult Personalities, helps people to relate to the ‘divas’ in their lives; to stay calm and steer the conversation towards reaching their goals.
Watch this interview for a fun conversation about divas, being a big personality, accepting yourself as you are, and relating to others. (Confession: Laura’s topic totally brought out my inner diva and she had LOTS to say! Had to do a little editing to get this interview down to our normal length!) Enjoy!
