Akeem Sami and I went to early voting on 10/22/2024 in Cedar Park, Texas. We live in a largely Republican Christian Conservative area and we are NOT that.

Here was our experience of casting our votes, and our reflections about our inner experience of voter intimidation. We offer insights into our personal contexts that influenced how we perceived the experience outside the polling location, and we hope that it helps you to understand a little bit more about how different people respond very differently to the same situation.

At the end of the episode, we hope you’ll reflect on what kind of nation you want to live in, and how you want to treat your fellow Americans during the voting process.
